MBFWA: Leo & Lin Resort 2019
Dreamy, pyjama time gorgeousness was the theme for Leo & Lin's MBFWA presentation this year. Think stripey cottons and moon-printed silks, but all grown up.
Ruffles, high collars & a palette of pastel pinks, blues, whites & creams gave an ethereal, dreamlike vibe to the runway.
Fun textural play between silks, cottons, tulles, glitter & sequins added a romantic feeling to the modern Victorian inspired garments. Super girly is back without a doubt, but a more refined girl, with minimal tastes in accessories and a preference for sleeked hair.
Bustier cuts were also a focus of this runway, a cut which I absolutely adore for occassional wear. It's such a feminine look and displays the collarbone so beautifully - loving the popularity of the sweetheart neckline this season!
Moons, stars & celestial patterns were continual motifs throughout the runway, adding that bedtime chic to the pieces. I loved the gentle flowing beauty of the asymmetrically cut hems on silk gowns, which were belted at the waist with knotted ropes - so whimsical!
Fairytale gowns & Alice In Wonderland vibes were so plentiful at Leo & Lin. I loved this magical runway, which truly set itself apart - and did NOT feature teal! *gasp!*
