Zhivago Miami Nights - Resort 18
Plunging necklines, fluted skirting & chained sunglasses took centre stage for Zhivago's much anticipated show at this year's MBFWA event. Sequinned applique, stitching over fishnets and clashing laced prints were a visual feast for spectators, with the brand focusing on nailing the details throughout the show (literally nailing - the fingernail paint matched the heels of each model!)
The colour palette for the show was, in true Zhivago style, black, white & red, with many interesting takes on the shades in between, and the garments on show were form fitting, sexy & empowering. My standout pieces of the show are the burgundy plunging neck dress (reminiscent of an extremely well dressed flight attendant), the trumpet flute cut velveteen dress (film-noir goodness) and the lace applique jumpsuit (serious Bella-Hadid-at-the-Met-Gala vibes).
Miami Nights see's a much more adult and ready-to-wear collection presented by Zhivago, who have perfected the art of dark resort style. Congratulations to Zhivago on another outstanding MBFWA presentation this year - you never, ever fail to impress & inspire with the ambience of your show xx
