VAMFF Premium Runway 2
A gorgeous runway presented by ELLE
Alice McCall
Notoriously girly brand Alice McCall put forward a tougher and edgier collection this season, with a focus on pixellated lace, and a more mature colour palette featuring a ramped up use of black.
Macgraw
Macgraw brought the equestrian vibes to the runway this season, styling polo necks with riding caps. Victorian influences also peppered the garment mix, with an autumnal colour palette of burnt oranges & burgundy.
Life with Bird
Copper outerwear, simple cuts with textural prints, cropped bell sleeves & wrap skirts were the focus of LWB's presentation. Bird always focus on clean cuts & lines, with colour blocking oomph - and this year was no excuse. Metallics also featured within the collection, which was a welcomed surprise.
Manning Cartell
A little bit of 60's mod, a little bit of raw-edgy - MC delivered the goods this year. drop-waisting, silk dresses, sequined embellishments & burgundy leather leggings were staples of the collection. Always classic and refined, MC was my choice of the evening.
Bec & Bridge
Putting the baby back in doll, Bec & Bridge presented a surprising collection this season. Normally renowned for navy & black palettes, B&B opted for lace, babydoll dresses & rose silk for Autumn dressing, mellowing the tonal shift through the use of classic cuts. Metallics also popped up here - trend alert.
Bianca Spender
Emerald green was the hue of Bianca's choice, featuring on jumpsuits, maxi dresses & high waisted pants alike. Textural choices of velvets, buttons & metallics set off Spender's vintage cuts - a much expected, high quality runway from the label.
