Bali Bible: Day Six
Have you ever stepped into an accommodation that you booked online, and have it be exactly as pictured? Stepping into Villa Radha (part of Des Villas in Canngu) was like stepping into a teak dream, with the 'villa goals' being almost too real. Upon our arrival we were greeted with an amazing rice paper roll snack & frangipani string of flowers from the friendly staff, who showed us around the grounds (which were seriously stunning!). Villa Radha is nestled amongst koi fish ponds and stepping stones, and features it's own private pool and sunbed. The surrounds were so serene and calm, making this villa the absolute perfect place to unwind and relax, and the staff can offer you as much privacy as you like (they are only a phone call away). My only note would be that this Villa is absolutely not suitable for kids, as there are so many un-gated bodies of water. For those who know me well, they would know the secret to my architectural heart lays in an amazing bathroom design, and this bathroom is possibly the most gorgeous thing I have ever laid my eyes on! The indoor/outdoor design suits Bali's humid weather so perfectly, and the bathtub gave me life. I spent so so so much time in the private pool. It featured little fountains and was extensively shaded which was perfect for my pale self. It also had the sunbed set up right beside it, making it a great place for relaxing with a fresh juice and good book. Villa Radha was literally the Villa of my dreams, and I feel so privileged to have been able to spend my Birthday in such a gorgeous retreat.
