Karla Spetic @ MBFWA
Croatian born Karla Spetic presented a highly feminine aesthetic on this year's runway, focusing on cut-outs, looser silhouettes & experimental high & low neck lines. A highlight show of Day 3, Spetic's designs will absolutely be influencing Australian S/S collections for the upcoming season.
Scalloped detailing, creamy lace & sheer, paneled fabrics took centre stage, with a lavender theme echoed throughout the styles, in both colour palette & print. The hues incorporated into the collection are reminiscent of Spring time, making this one of the most clear & wearable Resort collections to have walked the runway thus far.
Models who walked the runway were also treated to a rare Fashion Week comfort in the form of flat shoes - a trend that seems to be gaining momentum at this year's event (YES! YES!) A beautiful atmospheric presentation, that has once again solidified Karla's prowess and innovation in design.
