Katherine Victoria Slays NZFW
There are certain moments at Fashion Week that make you feel so happy to be a part of the event. The privellage of being able to view Katherine Victoria's debut collection showing at NZFW was one such moment - I am blown away!
The attention to detail taken with these garments is something so rarely seen in young designers who feel as though they need to prove the world. Katherine's focus is on dressing women in wearable, stylish garments that flatter the figure; a focus that solidified the uniformity of this collection, titled 'Aesop's no. 226'
Velvet, pastels with pops of bright greens & reds, as well as sequins & faux fur texturised flowing silhouettes with traditional cuts. The vibe was contemporary yet timeless, and the addition of on trend pieces (such as the amazing dusty pink bomber jacket dress pictured) resulted in a gorgeous, up to date presentation.
