Overall, the final day of Fashion Week would have to be my favourite. Not because I get to travel back home & finally sleep for longer than 5 hours a night, but because it was the day that the emerging designers showcased their works. There is something rather special about the first time a designer shows at MBFWA. So many nerves, but so much excitement and loads of inspiration & hard work go into creating the perfect atmosphere, the perfect lighting and, of course, the perfect debut collection.
This year I was lucky enough to attend all the shows held on Friday of FW, and I was absolutely blown away at the innovation & dynamic designs that walked the runway. From highly wearable leather goods, to Asian styling, spiked skirts and - let's be honest - some highly impractical items, each brand had their own distinct formations & styling.
My personal favourite was the runway presented by Jessica Van - more to come on that show later, so keep your eyes peeled StyleSpies!
I have included a video I edited together of the highlights of each show, so you can experience the cream of the crop for yourself. Enjoy! xx
